This year at RSA, we have a new product announcement. Our Forensics Canvas offers a new way to use discovery across unknown connections to uncover an attack’s TTPs and related threat actors to provide insight into how to best respond to various IOCs. This new tool, integrated into our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) platform, provides the tools needed for triage and research an IOC in a graphic and intuitive way.

During the event, you’ll have a chance to participate in our interactive Virtual Reality game “The Usual Suspects.” The game will take you through a virtual world of cyber security threats and how the people within your organization can either support you or bring you down – you’ll be faced with different vulnerabilities and attack vectors and will have to select the right course of action to manage them.

RSA 2018, Must Catch Show Events

RSA is the main cybersecurity event of the year. It had a massive audience of over 40,000 attendees last year. Across two main halls, the event has around 500 speakers and 300 sessions. These are just a few you don’t want to miss:

Keynote sessions:

A must-see keynote panel is “The Five Most Dangerous New Attack Techniques, and What’s Coming Next” including SANS founders, Allan Paller and Johannes Ullrich. This session will call upon the combined expertise of the panelists to look at emerging threats and how to deal with them.

Brad Smith, Microsoft President, is one of the leading keynote speakers. Brad is also the Chief Compliance Office at Microsoft and will have an intimate view of how compliance impacts data security in 2018.

Over the 4-days of the show, there are many callout sessions; these are a few recommendations:

Threat Hunting Strategy How to Catch Bears and Pandas, Tuesday, April 17. Heather Adkins, Google’s Director, Information Security and Privacy, Craig Hancock, Telstra CISO, Dmitri Alperovitch, Co-Founder and CTO, CrowdStrike, will discuss their First-hand experience of hunting cyber threats. Anton Chuvakin will moderate the session.

Security Orchestration and Incident Response, also on Tuesday, April 17. Bruce Schneier CTO, IBM Resilient, IBM Security will talk about taking an orchestrated approach to cyber threats in an increasingly complex world.
