With fairly interesting PR and marketing methods, RevolutionRAT seems to be gaining attention with a growing Telegram community after only a few days of operation.
RevolutionRAT’s Selling Platform & PR
RevolutionRAT is currently being advertised on various Telegram channels (Figure 1), mostly used for malware advertising.
RevolutionRAT’s operators have a unique way of showing how their product is the best in the market.
As part of their PR, the operators write blogs as they perform malware analysis on their competitors, such as VenomRAT and Onion Clipper. In their blogs, they show how it is easy to analyze, identify and mitigate their activity. The bottom line is that RevolutionRAT is significantly better and more sophisticated than its competitors (Figure 2).
